Homonyms Posters | KS2 Writing | Primary English

Homonyms Vocabulary Posters

These homonyms vocabulary posters display a variety of words, with matching illustrations, that are spelt and pronounced the same but have different meanings. There is an explanation page along with twelve sets of homonyms.

The homonyms vocabulary posters introduce pupils to a wide range of homonyms, expanding their vocabulary and deepening their understanding of word meanings. Studying homonyms reinforces spelling skills as children learn to differentiate between words with the same spelling but with different meanings.

Our homonyms vocabulary posters are aligned with KS2 writing composition and vocabulary on the primary national curriculum. This primary resource can be used with your ideas for creative writing activities, display boards, games, teaching material, learning aids, differentiation, homework, and lesson plans.
