Year 5 Factors Worksheets | KS2 Multiplication & Division | Primary Maths

Year 5 | Factors Worksheets

In these Year 5 factors worksheets, each box displays one of eight specific numbers. Children are tasked with listing the pairs of factors for each number. Following this, your class is challenged to determine whether there are 7 or 8 common factors of 36. They are required to articulate their response by identifying and explaining all the common factors involved.

This Year 5 factors worksheet serves as a useful resource for enhancing children’s comprehension of factors. It delves into the exploration of pairs of factors and common factors, providing a deeper understanding of the relationships between numbers. The skills developed in identifying factors are transferable to other areas of mathematics, such as simplifying fractions and finding the greatest common factors.

Our Year 5 factors worksheets are aligned with KS2 multiplication and division on the primary national curriculum. All of our Year 5 multiplication and division worksheets can be combined with your ideas for primary maths activities, learning resources, teaching material, visual aids, games, differentiation, display boards, homework, and lesson plans.
