Year 5 | Relative Pronouns Worksheets

In these Year 5 relative pronoun worksheets, a bank of relative pronouns is provided for your class to add to each sentence from a given group, filling in the missing space. Following that, a set of sentences is presented with incorrect relative pronouns. Your class is tasked with crossing out the incorrect pronouns and replacing them with the correct ones. Finally, children will write their own sentence, challenged to include a relative pronoun.

This worksheet serves as an introduction to relative pronouns for your pupils and provides ample practice in applying these pronouns in their writing. It helps them identify relative pronouns as words used to begin a relative clause and name examples such as “who”, “that”, “whose”, “which”, and “whom”.

Our Year 5 grammar primary worksheets are linked with the KS2 national curriculum and will support your primary learning activities, differentiation, homework and lesson plans.
