Year 6 Comparing Numbers Worksheets | KS2 Number & Place Value | Primary Maths

Year 6 | Comparing Numbers Worksheets

These Year 6 comparing numbers worksheets require learners to write the signs “<” or “>” in between each pair of 6-digit numbers to show which number is more or less than the other. They then repeat this task with pairs of 7-digit numbers and then with pairs of decimal numbers. Lastly, children are shown pairs of calculations that they will work out and then place the signs “<“, “>”, or “=” to indicate which of the two calculations is more, less, or equal.

This worksheet raises the expectations of learning about comparing numbers as larger numbers, as well as decimal numbers, are explored. It provides a comprehensive exercise for pupils to reinforce their understanding of comparing numbers in various forms.

Our Year 6 number and place value worksheets are created to match the KS2 national curriculum. They can be used with your ideas and teaching strategies for learning activities, homework, differentiation and primary lesson plans.
