Year 6 | Comparing Numbers Worksheets

These Year 6 comparing numbers worksheets require learners to write the signs “<” or “>” in between each pair of 6-digit numbers to show which number is more or less than the other. They then repeat this task with pairs of 7-digit numbers and then with pairs of decimal numbers. Lastly, children are shown pairs of calculations that they will work out and then place the signs “<“, “>”, or “=” to indicate which of the two calculations is more, less, or equal.

This Year 6 comparing numbers worksheet raises the expectations of learning about comparing numbers as larger and decimal numbers, are explored. This worksheet will enhance children’s ability to accurately read and interpret large numbers and decimals, which is fundamental for numerical literacy.
