Giant Multiplication Wheel | 11 Times Table Activity Worksheets

Help your class reinforce key facts with this giant multiplication wheel for the 11 times table activity worksheet. Children complete the inner circle by multiplying each given number by 11, then record the product in the outer ring of the wheel. With numbers ranging from 1 to 12, the activity covers the full set of 11 times table facts, such as 6 × 11 = 66 or 11 × 11 = 121. The second part of the worksheet gives pupils a set of written calculations to solve, providing further opportunity to practise their recall and solidify understanding of these important multiplication facts.

Key Curriculum Focus

This KS2 times tables/multiplication worksheet aligns with the national curriculum by supporting:

  • Recalling and using multiplication facts for the 11 times table
  • Applying known facts to solve written multiplication questions
  • Building fluency and confidence through visual and written practice

As children work around the multiplication wheel, they repeatedly revisit key facts, helping to strengthen memory and build confidence. Our giant multiplication wheel for the 11 times table activity worksheet offers a fun, visual way to explore multiplication relationships, while the written section allows learners to apply what they’ve learnt in a traditional format.

11 Times Table in KS2 Maths

By KS2, pupils are expected to recall all multiplication facts up to 12 × 12 with confidence. For example, knowing that 9 × 11 = 99 supports a wide range of maths skills, including problem-solving and written calculations. The 11 times table is often one of the easier sets to recall due to number patterns, and resources like this multiplication wheel help children consolidate those patterns through active repetition and reasoning.

Activity Idea: Fill the Wheel Relay

Print multiple copies of a blank 11 times table wheel and split the class into small teams. Pupils take turns to run up, solve a multiplication fact and fill in one segment. The first team to complete the wheel correctly wins. Great for active learning and group collaboration.
